Our tour manager or local representative will greet you outside the airport when you arrive. We then go ahead and check in at the hotel.
Note: NRIs and direct passengers can check in at the hotel independently. 1500 hours is the usual check-in time. We could have to head straight to dinner or a packed dinner will be served in the event of a delayed flight or a lengthy immigration line.

We continue with a guided city tour of Madrid today: See the old town, the city center, the church of San Francisco El Grande, the fountains of Paseo del Prado, Atocha station, and many more historical and contemporary locations. You may also visit Madrid's largest bullring, Las Ventas Plaza De Torros. We then take a car to Toledo. We take advantage of a guided tour when we get there, seeing the Toledo Cathedral, Puente San Martin, significant squares, and winding cobblestone lanes. We then go to a sword manufacturing.

Our first stop today is the city of Avila, where you can see the "Walls of Avila." Continue on to Salamanca, which is referred to as the "Golden city" because of the sandstone used to build its structures. It is home to the third-oldest university in the world, one of Spain's top ten cathedrals, and one of the country's most exquisite squares. We start a guided tour of Salamanca once we arrive, where we view the Salamanca square, the Ponte Roma, the Salamanca University, and the Salamanca Cathedral. After that, we travel on to Lisbon's Porto.

We take pleasure in a guided tour of Porto today. Portugal’s second largest city, Porto, is famed worldwide for its port wine. A UNESCO World Heritage site designation was given to Porto's historic center in 1996. We also go to a historic wine cellar here, where we can taste wines. We drive to Lisbon later.

We continue our guided city tour today, seeing Praca do Comercio, Belem Tower, Jeronimos Monastery, Avenue Liberta, and the 25th April Bridge in Lisbon. We next go to the town of Sintra and the westernmost point of the European continent, Cabo da Roca.

We will travel to Sevilla, which is located on the Guadalquivir River's banks, today. After arriving, we take a guided city tour that includes a visit to the cathedral and Plaza Espana in Sevilla, as well as a horse-drawn carriage ride. We enjoy the typical Flamenco show later this evening.

Take a car to Cordoba today and stop by the Mezquita. The Cathedral of Our Lady of the Assumption, sometimes called the Mosque–Cathedral of Cordoba, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a former Islamic mosque. We then take a car to Malaga. If time permits, we then continue on to the McArthur Glen shopping center, where you may find fantastic discounts on designer brands.

We have some free time on the beach today. After that, we go to Granada, where we take a guided tour of the Generalife Gardens and the Alhambra Complex.

We're driving to Valencia today. We have a guided city tour when we get there, seeing the Plaza Reina, the magnificent Cathedral, the central market, and more. See Valencia's more modern architectural monument, the City of Arts & Sciences.

We're driving to Barcelona today. We have a guided city tour when we get there, seeing the Olympic Village, Montjuic, Placa de Catalunya, and many other stunning locations. We then go to the Sagrada Familia, a UNESCO World Heritage monument that is an incomplete small basilica. Later, if you have time, spend some free time at Barcelona's well-known tree-lined central avenue, La Rambla, which is dotted with cafes and gift shops.
Note: Access to the Sagrada Familia is contingent upon the officials' availability and may not be possible on this particular day. In these situations, the schedule will be adjusted to reflect all inclusions.

We travel to Montserrat today, Spain's first national park and the home of the Virgin of Montserrat, a multi-peaked mountain range. We then take a car back to Barcelona, where we have some free time at the beach.

We head to the Barcelona airport today to catch your flight home. Please take a few minutes to let your tour manager know what you think. Your insightful recommendations would be greatly received. You will return home with happy recollections of your trip to Spain and Portugal that you will cherish forever.
Note: Coach parking is restricted in major European cities, and it is not feasible to stop at every location during the city tour. Wherever possible, the tour manager will make every effort to halt the coach for a photo stop.
