About Kashmir Tour Packages
Kashmir is a travel destination that offers all kinds of tour packages for every heart that travels here. To spend your vacation without any hassle and entangling with the extreme process of hotel bookings, commuting, itinerary planning, and many more things that are needed on the trip. Then you must find the best travel agency or company that offers local ground support and the best services. At My Tour Plans, we are proficient in creating plans for Kashmir for everyone, whether the guest is travelling with their family, with a group of friends, or someone looking for a romantic getaway.
The term originates from the Sanskrit word and translates to “Land of Kashyap Rishi”. It emerged as a result of a sage who drained a massive lake named Satisar in order to reveal the valley. That story is more than a mythology; it is the essence of Kashmir. When you visit the land, you are not exploring the place; you are experiencing a land formed by wisdom long before beauty would realise it was beautiful.
The Kashmir tour Packages also let you experience the Dal Lake and the society that floats on this lake, the world’s highest purest saffron field, Chinar, the trees that exhale the essence of history, the shrines that blend the culture like the Kheer Bhawani Temple and Hazratbal Dargah coexist peacefully, visited by people of all faiths.
Lastly, the great Himalayan Ranges and their great peaks like Mount Nun, Mount Kun, Kolahoi Peak, Harmukh Peak, Sunset Peak (Romesh Thong), and many others that are capped with snow as if there are some white cloths sewn to the mountains.
Kashmir not only has its incredible physical beauty but also has a unique feeling. Each breath you take here is full of snow, earth, and a certain calmness. Kashmir possesses an unparalleled tranquility, more so than any other location in the hills or mountains of India, where culture, nature, and beliefs meld together in a way that time seems to take a brief sabbatical in order to rest and listen.
Some of the amazing locations told through the places that embody and express the story of Kashmir, one way or another, are;
Srinagar, the heart of the valley, is where thought meets rhythm. From rowing through Dal Lake with a sikara to mahals and lush Mughal gardens in which time has stood still, everything is slow, dreamy, and uninterrupted. This is a land where you will wake up star gaze at sillness over the water and fall asleep with the silencing sound of the oar traversing along the luminous water's edge.
Encased in snow all winter long, and flowers all summer long, Gulmarg is an absolute mountain theater. The gondola rises you to beyond 13,000 feet, ridges appear to be endless, and the weather for skiing, golfing, or just enjoying the alpine air, Gulmarg is perfection, in nature's mind.
Pahalgam sits in a large area of green grass, tall pine trees, and a silver ribbon-like Lidder River that flows downstream. Although Pahalgam is the starting location for the pilgrimage or journey to the famous Amarnath Yatra, it is also a place to relax, hike the countless trails, fish for trout or whatever else might bite, or simply sit by the river that you wish would stop talking to you.
Sonamarg, aptly named, radiates a distinctive shimmer. The beauty of Sonamarg is not static; it varies depending on the light and time. Glaciers lie on beds of wildflowers, and the mountains flash golden as the sun moves across the sky. Once a part of the old Silk Route, wind, hooves, and a certain kind of silence all remind you, in this valley, how time can stand still.
Yusmarg sees far fewer visitors than either Gulmarg or Pahalgam, so instead, you get to feel what makes hills and pines almost special with the wind, and enjoy the sound of less disturbed nature. It offers the opportunity to experience the "meadow of god," which locals refer to, which feels appropriate once you experience the peaceful, almost sacred feeling.
Kokernag is known for its clear spring that runs through many streamlets, creating natural fish ponds and gardens. It is both beautiful and representative; necessary for Kashmir’s beauty to flow gently without too much noise or fuss.
The cool watery spring of Verinag is assimilated into the foothills of Pir Panjal at the source of the Jhelum River. The circular spring is embedded with a Mughal stone pavilion and Chinar trees surrounding it. That quiet royal stillness of love for nature can be witnessed here, too.
A short drive from Srinagar, and you can arrive at Dachigam, home of the endangered Hangul deer. The forest is animated with leopards, bears, and cold streams dashing under walnut trees. It is Kashmir's best preserved wilderness, raw but elegant.
Kupwara is famous for its natural beauty, untouched meadows, ponds, and woodlands. The region is sometimes called "cousin Kashmir in Kashmir"; it is all the same but all different in a sense based on geography, with mountains, rivers, and pure hospitality.
The capital of King Avantivarman was once home to ruins of temples from the 9th century, dedicated to Vishnu and Shiva. The stone carvings speak silently and ring strong as memories of a civilization that built how to frailty; sadly, man simply wasted away to die.
Moving past Bandipora, Gurez is close to a different universe. Wooden buildings with stone roofs, children waving as the trekker ascends the hillside, and the Kishanganga River snaking through jagged peaks. I have been to different places, none in Kashmir, where I sensed viscerally what it meant not to be remote; not isolated, but immersed in purity.
Situated in Kupwara, the expansive, open-meadowed Bangus is almost dreamlike in its stillness. There are no hotels, no other people, just wildflowers, grazing horses, and sky. It is as if Pahalgam were 100 years ago.
Just outside of Gurez is the Tulail Valley, a long, thin slice of heaven encased between high cliffs and glaciers. The road is rough, but every turn provides a view that seems to leech its dignity from the time period we live in.
Keran sits quietly on the Line of Control, but life here is peaceful and astonishingly beautiful. Wooden homes lean toward the river, and across the water, you can see another world, yet what stands out is the warmth of people who live so close to uncertainty and yet smile so easily.

Unlike the old times, Kashmir now has smoother accessibility, with new routes that connect the remotest valleys to the major cities of India. There are multiple ways available to visit Kashmir, such as the new Himalayan railways, which itself is a journey with serene sights. The highways that go in sync with the mountains make the ride equally beautiful. And the direct flights that cross over the snow-covered Himalayan ranges make Kashmir easily accessible from major Indian cities.
By Air
Air travel is the most accessible mode of transport to access Kashmir. Jammu and Kashmir has two airports, one in Jammu that operates regular domestic flights with major cities throughout India. And the second one is Srinagar Airport (Sheikh ul-Alam International Airport), which is connected with major cities of India and some of the limited international flights as well.
By Road
If you've always longed to take an excursion across the land and admire snow-capped peaks or feel the cool breeze, a road trip to Kashmir could be an amazing thing to do. It is hard to appreciate the beauty and tranquillity of the mountains in anything better than driving through the physical landscape along the way - scraggy forests, rainbow tunnels, wide valleys, and hot springs. Jammu-Srinagar National Highway (NH-44) is the road that connects you to the beautiful valleys of Kashmir, and its all-weather infrastructure means that any trip you plan will go all year long.
By Rail
The newly completed USBRL rail link now provides train connectivity into the valley via the Chenab Bridge, one of the world’s highest railway arches. Travellers can reach Jammu Tawi or Katra by train and then continue toward Srinagar either by rail on the newly commissioned sections or by road, where rail services are still ramping up via the Banihal area.

There are many exciting things to do in Kashmir, as the land of beautiful mountain valleys and incredibly clear blue lakes with an amazing view of the Himalayan landscape in Jammu and Kashmir does not leave a shortage of outdoor opportunities. Srinagar, popularly known as 'Paradise of Land', is quickly becoming the new adventure hub. Tourists from around the world are keeping a close watch on this place for at least one visit in a lifetime.
There's something for everyone, be it trekking on the barren mountain roads or sailing across the sky with heart-pumping sports like paragliding, and a boat ride on Dal Lake with a view that's second to none. The number of adventure sports in Srinagar is aplenty. The exciting experience of your trip to paradise does not end here, because Kashmir is treasured for its natural beauty and spectacular scenic views in the mountains, whether you are seeking excitement or beautiful sights.
