Railways- The nearest railway station to Dalhousie is Pathankot Railway Station, which is located at a distance of around 80 km from the town. From the railway station, you can take a taxi or bus to reach Dalhousie. The station is well-connected to major cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Chennai, among others.

Roadways- Dalhousie is well connected by road to major cities like Delhi, Chandigarh, and Amritsar. One can easily hire a taxi or take a bus to reach Dalhousie from nearby cities. The distance from Delhi to Dalhousie is approximately 560 km and takes around 11-12 hours by road. Similarly, the distance from Chandigarh to Dalhousie is around 320 km and takes around 8-9 hours by road.
